Objectives & Outcomes
After completing this course, you should be able to:

- Detect, respond to and recover from security incidents across the full lifecycle, from first alert to lessons learned.

Certification

To achieve the ISC2 SSCP certification, you must pass the exam and have at least one year of cumulative, full-time work experience in one or more of the seven domains of the ISC2 SSCP Exam Outline. Earning a bachelors or masters degree in computer science, information technology or a related field may satisfy up to one year of the required experience, and part-time work and internships also count. Don't have enough experience yet? You can still pass the SSCP exam and become an Associate of ISC2 while you earn the required work experience. Associates of ISC2 have two years to earn the one year of required experience. The SSCP exam is 2 hours long with 100-125 multiple choice and advanced item type questions. The exam uses Computerized Adaptive Testing (CAT) and can be taken only in-person at Pearson VUE Select Testing Centers. You must achieve 700 out of 1000 points to pass. |
