Malta’s new SEO poster-child. Meet Roxanne.

Our face lights up each and every time an ICE Malta alumni comes by to give us an update on their career progression. When Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing student Roxanne Marie Grech told us that she had scored a hot career opportunity at one of the leading iGaming brands Kindred Group and was on her way to Leicester for her Masters in Marketing graduation, we were obviously over the moon and we couldn’t wait to share her story.
Why was the Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing course your game-changer?
In my case I studied marketing at the University of Malta (Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) Marketing & Management) and continued my learning journey by enrolling for the Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing followed by my Masters in Marketing at the University of Leicester. Whether you are working for a high-tech company or you manage your own business, having great skills in digital marketing is truly a valuable asset – it’s essential. This course complemented my studies perfectly and was the final ingredient for me to become industry-ready.
What did you love most about the ICE Malta Study Experience?
Definitely the ICE Malta Student Area – it’s a fantastic hub of great learning content, plus students can connect with their educator during and after the course. Also, I love the fact that the educators are industry practitioners who are driven by their passion towards digital marketing and generously share insider secrets, techniques and tricks which make learning such a unique and enriching experience.
Where are you working now?
I have recently embarked on a new adventure and opted for a more specialised role. I am now working in Search Engine Optimisation at one of the leading gaming companies in the industry – Kindred Group.
What are your plans for the future?
I’m enjoying applying what I’ve learnt during the course and keeping up-to-date with all that’s happening in the fast evolving world of Search Engine Optimisation – my learning journey will never stop especially because new updates are constantly launched. Having strong foundations and knowing that ICE Malta is my learning partner gives me confidence to stay on top of my selected specialisation.
