“Digital Marketing is a non-negotiable. Meet Paula.”

Senior Sales Executive at the Times of Malta, Paula Ferriggi launched her own fashion and lifestyle blog within a few months and enrolled for the Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing 5-day bootcamp to quickly gain the industry skills to be able to successfully build her own personal brand. Here’s her story.

Why did you decide to enrol for an ICE Malta study programme?

It all started when I decided to set up my own fashion and lifestyle blog last year. I wanted to gain the digital marketing skills to effectively promote my brand. I’m also a Senior Sales Executive with The Times of Malta so I knew that these skills would definitely also help me up my game at work especially because the digital world is constantly changing. Keeping up with ever-changing technology trends in this dynamic field is a must.

Which part of the study experience did you like most and why?

The study programme I enrolled for was a 5-day bootcamp which admittedly was intensive yet such a great experience. The educator managed to keep us engaged throughout so although there was a lot to learn, they were a very rewarding 5 days with loads of networking too.

Why are digital skills crucial?

With rapid developments in technology, the workforce needs to be digitally capable. No matter which industry you’re in, you must harness the power of digital technologies to help boost brand awareness, engage with your target audience and achieve desired sales results.

What is your message to students?

Embark on a learning journey and be aware of all the opportunities around you. Remember, learning must never stop. Constantly gain new skills and achieve international certifications to keep yourself in-demand. Explore new study paths, continue to discover which subjects interest you most and most importantly believe that you have the potential to reach your highest career aspirations, and beyond.
