European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL), known as ICDL outside Europe, is the global standard in end-user computer skills, offering candidates an internationally recognised certification that is supported by governments, computer societies, international organisations and commercial corporations globally.

ICDL is the world’s largest end-user computer skills certification programme, with more than 7 million candidates in 148 countries.

The Malta Further & Higher Education Authority (MFHEA) deems the ICDL Workforce Certificate to be at Level 3 of the Malta Qualifications Framework and of the European Qualifications for Framework for Lifelong Learning.

ICDL is a test of practical skills and competencies and consists of seven separate modules covering computer theory and practice. This study programme is based on Microsoft Office 2019 and Windows 10.
