Less figuring it out alone.
More moving forward, together

  • Learn live, the ICE way

Move through the programme with a cohort, guided live by experienced AI practitioners. Ask questions, share ideas, try things and keep building together as you learn.

  • Leave with work you can show

Each module adds practical work to your portfolio, from prompt and context systems to automations, agents, business cases and adoption plans shaped around challenges that matter to you.

  • Become a certified pro in AI

Earn a globally recognised certification, credit rated at SCQF Level 8, equivalent to EQF Level 5 with 20 ECTS, industry-validated from experts at Google, Microsoft and IBM.

What you'll be able to do

See how experienced AI practitioners really work, then build, test and improve your own way of working with AI. Across the programme, you will turn ideas and real challenges into useful assets, workflows, agents and plans you can use at work and feel proud to show.

  • Build an AI-powered way of working

Bring together reusable prompts, context, trusted knowledge, assistants and routines into a practical AI toolkit shaped around your work.

  • Turn ideas into finished work

Use AI to research, write, analyse and create reports, presentations, visuals and other useful assets with greater speed and quality.

  • Turn repeatable work into reliable workflows

Map a real process and build no-code automations that connect steps, reduce manual work and include the right human checks.

  • Build and improve AI agents

Design single and multi-agent systems, test where they fail, evaluate their performance and refine them until they work more reliably.

  • Turn information and data into decisions

Use AI to analyse source material and data, challenge its findings, verify important claims and present a clear recommendation.

  • Find and prove the opportunities worth pursuing

Identify where AI could save time, improve performance or unlock growth, then assess feasibility, data readiness, risk, costs and ROI.

  • Put responsible AI into practice

Apply the EU AI Act, assess real risks and turn responsible AI principles into practical safeguards, oversight and governance.

  • Make AI adoption work in the real world

Assess readiness, bring stakeholders with you and create a phased 90-day roadmap for moving from experimentation to meaningful use.

For people ready to do more with AI

AI might be new to you, or already part of your day. What matters is that you are ready to go further - to build useful systems, solve real problems and turn what you learn into visible progress.

No coding or technical background required.

  • Ready to go beyond the basics

Move past one-off prompts and start working with AI more deliberately.

  • Want to build something useful

Apply what you learn to real challenges and create work you can use.

  • Value guidance as you learn

Ask questions, get useful feedback and build with a cohort beside you.

  • Curious about what comes next

Build the confidence and capability to move your work and ideas forward.

Speak to an expert on WhatsApp
  • This programme is unlikely to be the right fit if you:

    • Want an AI research course focused on neural networks, model training or machine-learning theory
    • Want to learn Python, software engineering or how to build AI technology from scratch
    • Already engineer advanced, production-grade AI systems
    • Want technical consulting or an architecture review of your organisation's existing AI systems
    • Prefer a passive, recorded course with little live teaching or participation

It is designed for people who want to learn live, build practical capability and put existing AI technology to work - without needing to become developers.

  • You can still join. We begin with the foundations so everyone can follow, then build capability quickly. AI4ALL by MDIA or our AI Productivity course may help you arrive more familiar with the tools, but neither is required.

  • Yes. The programme starts with the foundations and builds step by step, so no previous experience is required. If you are new to AI, you will develop the confidence to use it well. If you already use tools like ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot, you will learn how to move beyond one-off prompts into reliable workflows, automations, agents and responsible AI adoption.

  • No. Experience can be a real advantage in AI. Understanding how organisations work, how decisions are made and where problems actually exist usually comes from years of doing the work. The programme teaches AI from the foundations. You bring the experience and judgement that help turn it into something useful.

  • Yes. Our 6-hour, hands-on AI workshop has helped a lot of teams across Malta work smarter with AI. We can fine-tune it around your people, workflows and priorities, so the learning feels immediately relevant to the work they do.

  • Yes. You will need either ChatGPT Plus/Pro or Claude Pro, but one subscription is enough. This becomes your workspace throughout the programme - where you build and refine prompts, context systems, workflows and agents around real work. Think of it less as software for class and more as an AI toolkit you will keep using and improving long after the programme ends.

  • Yes. The capabilities apply across different industries and types of work. Wherever possible, you will shape exercises and projects around challenges that are relevant and useful to you.

  • Potentially, yes. If you have felt stuck at the same level, this programme gives you new leverage - practical work that shows how you can spot opportunities, improve workflows, build the business case and help move AI adoption forward. AI skills alone will not guarantee a promotion. But people who combine real experience with the ability to use AI well will increasingly outpace those who do not. This programme helps you become much harder to overlook - and much harder to outgrow.

  • No. You can use realistic scenarios, public information or sample data. If you apply the learning to your organisation, you must not upload confidential, proprietary or personal information without permission and appropriate safeguards.

  • Yes. It is designed around working lives. Alongside the live lessons, you should plan approximately 5 to 10 hours each week for independent learning, experimentation, practical work and assessments.

  • You will be able to watch the recording and catch up in your own time. Recordings, learning materials and programme resources remain available for 24 weeks after the final live lesson.

  • There is no traditional sit-down exam or multi-choice test. Instead, you will create practical work throughout the programme and complete two capstone projects. Each contributes 50% of your final grade. To achieve the Professional Diploma, you must:

    • Submit both assessments
    • Achieve at least 55% in each assessment
    • Achieve an overall average of at least 60%

An overall average of 60% to 84% earns a Pass, 85% to 89% earns a Merit, and 90% or higher earns a Distinction. Merit and Distinction are only available when both assessments are passed on the first attempt. You will normally receive your result and detailed feedback within four weeks of submitting. Every grade is checked by a human verifier before it is released.

  • You have a maximum of 24 weeks from your final live lesson to successfully achieve the Professional Diploma. This period includes your first assessment submissions, marking and any re-sits you may need. We recommend submitting your first attempts no later than 16 weeks after the final live lesson. Results are normally issued within four weeks, leaving time to respond to feedback and complete a re-sit if required. The 24-week deadline is final. By then, both assessments and any required re-sits must be successfully completed.

  • You are normally entitled to one automatic re-sit for each summative assessment. You will receive detailed feedback showing what needs to improve, and the re-sit will usually be closely related to the original assessment. If either assessment is below 55%, you will need to re-sit it. If both assessments are at least 55% but their average is below 60%, you will re-sit the assessment with the lower mark. Re-sit marks are normally capped at the pass mark, which means Merit and Distinction are only available when both assessments are passed on the first attempt. A second re-sit is not automatic and is only considered in exceptional circumstances.

  • The Professional Diploma is credit rated by Qualifications Scotland at SCQF Level 8 with 40 SCQF credits. It is comparable to EQF Level 5 with 20 ECTS. More than just the credit numbers, what gives this programme its edge is its comprehensive, practical overview of cutting-edge AI skills, vouched for and endorsed by global industry giants like Google, Microsoft, IBM and other notable brands.

  • The programme develops capabilities that last beyond any one platform, including judgement, problem decomposition, workflow design, evaluation, governance and adoption. Tools, examples and supporting resources can evolve as the technology changes.
